Submit Blog to Search Engines

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) aims at increasing the volume and improving the quality of traffic to a website from search engine results. Search engines work on different algorithms to analyze the contents and keywords, and present the search results. Google, for instance, assigns page ranks to the sites and sites that rank highly will appear early in the results. How to change the Blogger Favicon ?

Goto Blogger Template>Edit Html
There find the title tag which looks like

<title><data:blog.pageTitle/></title>

and immediately after that add the following code after proper editing

<link rel="shortcut icon" href="URL of your icon file"/>Remember to replace URL of your icon file file with your icon file's url

Remove Subscribe to: Posts (Atom) Link

1. Login to your Blogger Account

2. Go to Design > Edit HTML

3. Click on the Check box which says "Expand Widget Templates"

4. Now Find this line of code in your template( Use Ctrl + F )

5.Delete this line

6.Save your Template and the "Subscribe to: Posts(Atom)" link will be completely removed from your Blog.

Star Ratings on Blogger

1)Login to Your Blogger in Draft Dashboard at http://draft.blogger.com (May not be available in your regular dashboard)
2)Go to Design > Page Elements and Click on the Edit Button near the Blog Posts Gadget and check the “Show Star Ratings” Option
3)You can Drag and Drop the “Star Ratings” and place it where you want.
4)Now if everything went right, then you should be able to see the Star Ratings
